Wardrobe

Wardrobe department deals with any and all clothing, apparel or other accessories personaly worn by on-screen talent or actors. Even something as basic as a t-shirt is considered a costume and the wardrobe department with select, store, track and maintain these clothing articles. Accesories such as sunglasses, ties, hats, jewelry or shoes are usually considered props and handled by the property dept. if the character is a principal actor. Otherwise, it's background wardrobe.
